The mount utilizes magnetic attachments, and since the MT Pro is constructed from metal, it secures effectively. However, I recommend using the MT Pro Case for added stability.
In terms of safety, I am confident in the magnets used, each offering a pull force of approximately 22 pounds. Nevertheless, for additional security, the mount will include a small safety wire attachment. This wire can be affixed where the original hook would be, allowing it to be securely latched around the boom.
