Keep in mind that the cables that come with most RCA cables in general…IE the chassis ear clamps don’t have the greatest shielding (in the audio world that is typically an unbalanced signal) Having a super long shielded coax cable is a bit overkill which is why I offer just the 1 foot leads. I really don’t see a huge “noise” difference in looking at vibrations with clamps since you are more than likely dropping the voltage in the scope channel to make the waveform bigger (an active filter from 750-1) should be plenty or increasing your vertical resolution.
