If you are asking what is the purpose of the detachable connector, well I like them and they look cool. In all seriousness if by chance you mess up an end or need a repair, you can just detach one side and send that in to keep shipping costs down. Also I am in the process of making another adaptor for it to plug into the cigarette lighter as an add on later down the road.
Lead Time: I typically do not stock some of the components for this due to space. Adding this to your order will add extra time if you have other items to your list so please be aware, I typically source the items after the order so just be aware of that.
