Ikea Alex Drawer Combiner

$15.00

As long time fan of Ikea furniture. I love how customizable they can be, but sometimes a solution is not available. The IKEA Alex collection has been a staple in my office over the years for holding everything from junk, papers, bolts, cable, and what not. Unfortunately even the lowest drawer doesn’t have enough depth. Because of this I created braces that allow you to combine 2 drawers to make one large drawer!.

There are two types of Alex models:
Skinny (click for dimensions)
-Brace to connect 2 top drawers
-Brace to connect 2 bottom drawers

Wide (click for dimensions)
-Brace to connect bottom 2 drawers
-Brace to connect 2 top/middle drawers

To install you must remove the drawer and bottom of drawer. These will fit on the inside of the drawer. Screws are not provided but are set to use countersunk M4 sized screws.

Quantity of 1 = 1 pair of braces. You typically just need a pair, but depending what you store having 2 pairs per drawer will give it some rigidity. Please be aware DO NOT overload the top drawers as they could tip over,
