FAQ

  • Returns for physical defect will be accepted for 7 days from the date of delivery. Cables are hand made and not toys, do not bend excessively, pull and or not use common sense. Defect must be reported in that time frame. In the event of DOA cable, shipping damage, postal loss, or theft, I will try my best to make things right. I do not offer returns simply because you do not need the product or you did not ask questions about it.

  • I stand by my work but do understand that some cables designed for automotive can be in harsh conditions. If a cable gets run over or cut, I am more than welcome to repair the cable if you ship it back to me. Do note depending on how it broke, length may be effected. I only ask you pay for the parts in question and a small fee which will be negotiated via contact.

  • I do not offer a warranty on my prints due to breaking and being rough on it. The items I offer I have tested in the shop with reasonable force and know what it takes to break them. If an item has multiple parts and a certain part broke I can reprint it without having to purchase a whole new item (EX: Test Lead Holder Kit). As far as heat goes, I have left all my 3D printed items on my dash in direct sunlight with 100 degree interior temps with no warping. Since I cannot test every climate mileage will vary. If an issue arises please contact me and we can work something out!

  • Sleeving acts as a protective layer and also looks great. With that in mind sleeving CAN be damaged by high heat and abrasion. Techflex has a more open weave and can catch on sharp objects, in that situation I recommend MDPC-X.

  • They are not made of harden steel. Do your best to wrap a cable up correctly along with pulling on the CONNECTOR and NOT the cable itself when removing from a device.

  • Lead times vary depending on work load, if I happen to have back stock of something or how tied up a printer is. My most current lead times are on my instagram page ‘draildiagnostics’. Most of the time it’s about 2-3 weeks.
